• McClure will be competing in his 88th career NASCAR Nationwide Series race this weekend with the running of the Dollar General 300 at Chicagoland Speedway
• Hefty Brand, which has partnered with the Virginia driver since 2006, is based in Lake Forest, IL which is located on the outskirts of Chicago. This will be their third appearance at Chicagoland Speedway as a NASCAR team sponsor.
• The Rensi-Hamilton Racing team will use chassis # 35 this weekend; it was last used in Kentucky where it scored a 30th-place finish.
• The 30-year-old driver has a best start of 36th and finish of 32nd, both of which came in 2008.
